Overview
Pronota has developed and implemented an integrated pipeline for protein biomarker discovery ( MASStermind® ), protein biomarker verification and early clinical validation (MASSterclass™) making use of patent protected protein chemistry techniques, advanced separation sciences, high-end mass spectrometry and proprietary bioinformatics tools. The MASStermind discovery platform is specifically tailored towards detection and relative quantitation of the lower abundance proteome in complex biological samples, including plasma and serum. The ability of MASSterclass to rapidly develop antibody-free, multiplex protein assays provides a unique solution for the accelerated verification and early clinical validation of high value biomarker candidates.
These biomarkers form the basis of a growing pipeline of next generation diagnostic tests in development at Pronota. In partnership with pharmaceutical companies, Pronota is also applying the same platforms to discover and develop new biomarkers as tools to support the development of therapeutics and ultimately as companion diagnostic products.
